All Ears (Nathaniel Uttley and Long Yat Tse)
All Ears is a film about safe places and how the outside world can affect them. It features a man who feels safe in the outside world but can do nothing as that world begins to infect the spaces in which he feels most secure. For this film, we took inspiration from film movements that experimented heavily with the form to create an unnerving atmosphere that reflects the character's mentality. In order to do this, we repurposed techniques pioneered by the structural film and surrealist movements.
