Born and raised in Athens, Des studied Mechanical Engineering before starting her undergraduate degree in Film Studies at Lancaster University. She has a keen interest in animation and visual effects and attended a course at Yafka School in Athens. She was a member of Lancaster University Film Production society for two years, with participation in three different short film productions in numerous roles (e.g. editor, production manager, boom operator). For the past two years, she has worked at various festivals, including Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In her free-time, Des enjoys swimming and spending time with friends and family.

All In is a film that attempts to imitate the style of Guy Ritchie. The film is about three students, who have an epiphany while struggling to get by in college.
