That Which I Cannot See (William Crompton)
My film is titled ‘That Which I Cannot See’, and it tells a horror story solely with the use of subtitles. The sound and image, then, are subordinated to sensorial instruments; the intention was to create an affecting, exhausting horror film, and I’m proud of the production’s end-product. I made the film independently—with no one else involved in the editing, filming, or conception.
This film was submitted for LICA359: Experimental Cinema in my third year of my Bachelor Hons. in Film Studies.
